  1. It is a really interesting topic to listen! It reminded me of the population in Thailand we learned. I didn’t realize there are many other gender people in the world before listen to your presentation. When listening to your presentation I can’t stop thinking what sex they are ‘born’ with, which I find myself not inclusive enough too. Thank you for sharing!

  2. I am so glad that you presented on this topic! So many cultures have acknowledged the existence of people beyond the gender binary, and you did a great job of analyzing and explaining these perspectives! I loved the videos you included, and the way you presented each culture’s “third gender!” You both did a great job, and truly opened my eyes to how divers the human understanding of gender can be!

  3. Your topic was very interesting to learn about! You both did a fantastic job of examining and elucidating the various perspectives that go beyond the gender binary, which are acknowledged by a plethora of cultures. Explaining why exploring genders globally is important stood out to me because I honestly didn’t know how much of a difference it could make. Overall, it was great!

  4. This is such an interesting topic! I’d heard of Two-Spirit, Hijra, and Muxe before (the last 2 due to this class) so it was really cool to learn there are even more examples across the world! Liked all the details, photos and videos you included rather than just straight text. Overall, a really well-done presentation!

  5. This project was so well-displayed! Your time spent on this is very evident through the impact in which your presentation has. I was somewhat aware of some of the other genders in cultures, but did not know much in depth. The part that struck me the most was learning about Fred Martinez; this story reminds me of Marsha P. Johnson, who suffered a somewhat similar fate for being who she was and being comfortable in her skin. Well done!!
